La Révolution surréaliste: New Orleans, Louisiana; La Révolution surréaliste was a publication by the French Surrealists in Paris, in the form of a literary journal detailing the revolutionary agenda of the movement between 1924 and 1929. In the vein of the original issues of La Révolution surréaliste, this online journal will further explore issues related to the movements of Dada, Futurism, Romanticism, and other precursors to Surrealism, as well as analyze various avant-garde and occult topics of interest. Aside from reawakening the traditions and manifestoes of the revolutionary movements of Dada and Surrealism, La Révolution surréaliste will also study cultural decadence along with the various artistic and literary movements that were influential during the nineteenth-century and first half of the twentieth-century.
